LPGA Golf Instructor at Feather Sound Country Club

My career started in 1997 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts where I worked under a Teaching Professional listed in the Top 100 Teachers in the United States. Opportunities to advance my teaching have taken me to other locations such as Connecticut, Boston, New York, Orlando, Chicago and then to the Tampa Bay area. Being a LPGA Teaching Professional since 2003, I have worked with Nike Golf Camps, First Tee Program, LPGA Girls Club and was appointed to the National Tournament Committee for the LPGA.  I fully enjoy coordinating charity and celebrity golf tournaments.  I have held the position of Junior Chairman for the West Central Chapter PGA for 4 years and believe whole heartedly in Junior Golf.  I am presently certified as a Golf Fitness Trainer and a Personal Trainer which is a huge part of my golf instruction. I am the Director of Instruction and Owner of Murphy’s Golf Academy and the Director of Instruction at Rocky Point Golf Course.  My focus is on the student’s goals and their individuality. I have programs to fit the needs of adults and juniors of all levels and am excited to help exceed the expectations of your golf game

Brianne’s Tip of the Month

SUMMER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND HERE ARE A FEW KEYS TO BEATING THE HEAT!! 1. Materials matter. Synthetic fabrics are great for wicking moisture and keeping you cooler. 2. Use two towels. The towel you use to wipe mud and sand off your clubs is going to run out of clean real estate fast. Make life easier by bringing another towel to dry your hands and face. 3. Don't overeat. Resist ordering a heavy lunch. Fruit and nuts stay fresh longer in extreme temperatures, so you can snack on them throughout the round. 4. Drink plenty of water. One bottle of water won't do much if you don't keep hydrating throughout theround.
